A digital camera is useless without a pc to connect it to right? theres no way you can get images off it the old way in the shop?

Reason i ask my mum might have won a decent camera but i told her i think its pointless ringing up to accept it if she cant get the pics off it

Wrong,

All photo places will take the memory card, read the data and print the pictures off it without you needing a computer.

You can even walk into BOOTS and they will do it all for you.

Not you Porkie as you beat me to it

Added to which, you can buy printers that have little slots for memory cards too, so you can print straight off them without a computer in sight

Or you can plug them into your TV and see all the pictures as a slide show.

I hear you can also put them in the oven, 200deg for 20 minutes, makes a good iron provided you wear oven gloves

Really, she wanted a new iron too, she wont need to if shes got a digital camera then

Seriously though, i know about the photo frames and you can remove the card and do whatever with it but i know my parents wont want to buy a printer if they can help it but you all say they can take it to boots etc so thats all i needed to know

Thanks
