Default Where is the heater control valve in a KA????

Have to fit one of these in my other halfs Ford Ka, the local garage want £105 to do it, but I can get the bit for far less and do it myself easily. Just need to know where to look for it, i.e behind the dash/heater controls or under the bonnet etc....

Thanks.

Its behind the plastic shite at the back of the engine bay, where the wiper motor etc is. Is a bit of a fiddley job to replace, becarefull where you get one from as i got a brand new one off Ebay and it did not work very well.

there easy to fit a just fitted one yesterday for the apprentise , just unbolt the panel that runs along front of it first makes it easier to get to , there only held on with a few selftappers and plastics screws . and all u needs a pair of vice grips or small pipe grips to releace the rings on the pipes , there also bad for the unit going where the switches are inside to control the temp but 90% of the time its the one uve shown
