SKY and Phone line....Plz help
DOES sky have to be connected to a phone line???
Just had my phone bill through and call charges are only £2 so its not worth me having a fixed phone line....
But I know my sky box is attached to it so DOES it really need it???

For the first 12 months it has to be connected iirc.
I remember my nan getting a shitty letter off Sky with a charge for £30 for not having it connected, however it wasn't her fault it was a dodgy sky+ box.

As above! it's the first year that they impose the conditions. It's to do with their interactive services (pay per view) or to you and I it's just another dragonian measure by Sky to piss people off and show them who's boss.
