Look at the disc as if it is a clock
on the driverside, the stud will only go in @ the #2
on the passengerside, the stud will only go in @ the #10
If that makes sense!

Ok I checked the car again, what i should've said in my original post was "How to fully install them into the hub" i.e all the way, they are splined so obviously they need to be forced in somehow, with a hammer etc..... but I can't seem to get space to do that at the back, due to the backing plate etc being in the way. So the stud are just rattling around in the holes at the moment The front ones were really easy to do.
Forgive my original post, it's been arounf 2 months since I last looked at the car and I kinda forgot what stage I was at......

Hold them at the back with your finger, and use a nut and washer on the front, and tighten the nut down until it draws the stud through ... Much easier if you have an airgun/ buzz-gun, but it will work. Also, make sure you do your wheels up twice and slacken them off again, then torque them up properly to make sure none of the studs have pulled through a bit more and left the wheel nut loose
