ROFL@phil...it was named that around the time of the gulf war
tony told me he wanted to call it spunk storm after his antics with the locals in the blue oyster but he reconed calling it that might put customers off

Staffs classics did the body work I think?
The underside was particularly impressive too.
I remember once it wasn't on the ramp and got shown round it. The interior was full leather with walnut door capping, there were nice little touches like the rear doors positioned differently to accommodate the rear arches and the rear spoiler is two standard ones blended together I think. It had a 12 point barometric pressure adjustment dial on the dash too didn't it?
By the looks of things it was an all round amazing car.
I would love to have the shell. I would buy a pair of rainbow mirrored full wrap sunglasses and a bum bag and go cruising around Stoke, re-living the dream.

To be fair, I know what you mean a bit, Rod does come across as a bit "focussed" on his car on here.
In real life though, absolutely top bloke, I thoroughly enjoy chatting to him, so like you say, its probably just your perception of him from the net that is wrong.
Cunt seemed a bit strong though, i wouldnt call your grandad that after all, even if he did do 200
