Default No spark after connecting battery backwards

(no it wasnt me that did it LOL)

What are peoples views on what could be blown so I can bill the person concerned

need to try some more ignition amps - <<< is there a way of checking these??

Any help appreciated

Oh fekkin ell Just got to the point where I can possibly keep the car and this

Tony was gonna call u next week (he has to talk to you about something else) thinking possibly ignition amps, or ECU

What can we test?

What I will say, is we managed to get it to start after about 30 minutes or constantly turning it over, checking for spark etc, but DID manage to get it to run AFTER the reverse connection, but it cut out after literally 2 minutes, then when started again, drove FINE for about 30 minutes till I got it back to mine.



So its like its made something "intermittent" than anything else

Check the alternator, might have burned the diode out if you're luckly

Cant see that being the issue for no spark?

Not sure what ECU you're on Stu but i remember you're on some form of aftermarket standalone?

HOPEFULLY you won't have toasted it

However, i have seen AEM & Power FC ECUs toasted by putting a jump pack on backwards

yeh but would it work afterwards?

Mine did, flawlessley!

So what does that point to?

What CAN be temporamental for the spark?
