Mate has been running his Escort Derv van on cooking oil from Costco for 10 months and it hasn't missed a beat.
£10 for 25 litres!

Well yeah, it is.... saves me £12.50 a fill up... four fill ups a month = saving me £50 a month.
And it doesn't gel up and fuck my motor unlike bodge it and scarper home brew, I know all the duty is paid on it so when a copper stops me for excreting chip fat smells out of my exhaust I won't get done and stung by him AND the tax man for running on used oils, and I haven't got to have a load of stinky, dirty shit in my garage that I have to wear rubber gloves and do the dirty prep work instead of watching Hollyoaks on TV!

So, yeah it is a bargain!

i thought that if you only used a small amount of cooking oil, that you didnt have to pay duty on it...whats the crack with that...?

makes no odds to me, i pay £1.10 a litre still...

You are right, you dont have to pay the duty.
