cosworth racing pistons/head skim
whats everyones views on deck height of cylinder head when running cosworth racing 6.9.0 pistons(un pocketed)
when my engine was going together i noticed the when pistons up to the top of the block they actually sat in slightly
due to the low comp i pressume
anyway i opted out of useing the mint 4x4 head i had to get the porting on it was 138.76(1 skim)
and ive decided to use a late 2wd 1 i have at 138.6
and going to use another 3 layer cometic gasket
i run bd14s(pair)and have had no valve crash problems
would you use a 138.6 head for this bearing in mind it will need another skim before getting bolted on

i think the main problem with heads that have had too many skims is whether there is an adequate valve seat area.
although reading it agan i'm not 100% what you are asking?
are you worried more about valve/piston contact?
