Oh yeah, when i changed the tyres, i went from 225.40.18's to 235.40.18, this was much better for the alloys cos the tyres were slightly wider with the 235's on providing rim protection, 225's just say flush and provided no protection.

RIGHT!!! i have a vivaro as well, ive got a set of x5 alloys on it, next time your with an x5 take a look at the plate that shows the weight! its heavier on all axles than a vivaro. the only thing i will say, is make sure you have load rated tyres or they will start to break up on the edges due to the off set and different toe in toe out when turning! best tyres to get are winter tyres, as there more flexible and less likely to wear out! oh and before you all slate me as well, my van is vxr blue with opc body kit ( i would post pics up, but this is ford, not vauxhall, so you lot will take the piss!!!!!!!!) good on ya chap! looks good!

Agreed, that looks fantastic and the wheels suit it to a tee.

The van in the OP looks terrible on those BMW alloys. Spokes way too skinny for a van and would look 100% better on standard steels.

Yeah, alloys that actually suit the van, and some nice colour touches that complement the black/grey bits rather than a tasteless slab of blue with some chavvy tat stuck to it.

The silver van is clearly owned by someone with taste and an eye for subtle detail.

The blue van is clearly owned by someone with a Halfords loyalty card.

No need to get your knickers in a twist because someone thinks your van looks toss on pram wheels.

He had no back seats mate - it was a professional car audio sound off car - one of the loudest in the UK back in the day. You are also forgetting the amount of batteries needed to run something like this setup and also to keep them charged at full power - weight increases a lot. The wheels he had made were not cheap either
