Default fwd gripper diffs, where from?

my mate has just had me out in his mk1 fiesta track car, 1.8l black top zetec, cammed up with throttle boddies, quaife box with a gripper diff, & now i need one of them gripper diffs but where from i ask you, if youve got a front wheel drive track car i would highly recomend one

something has to be worth a try
ive never really heard of them being used in rst's?
used in lots of rally cars tho.but mainly n/a tho so not sure if there up to the job of 300lb of torque

my mates is about 220lb/ft torque, & i said what do you reckon on an 350+bhp escort & he said why not, thats 2 of my mates both had quaife ATB diffs & both have binned them for the grippers, they swear by them especially on the corners as theres hardly any torque steer just pulls the car round lovely

thats good news then.as i said i hadnt heard from anyone using them on fwd so had no idea.i know folk who have also binned the quaifes in favour of these in rwd so they really must be up to the job.
btw just checked gearbox mans site and hes got them priced at 550 whish is cheaper than the gripper site

IB5 yep, but ATB and stuff like Gripper etc do two totally different things so you cant compare like for like.

I actually hate them purely from experience gained with a mates 205. We have fitted it now for him 4 times in 3 different casings. Its useless and the after sales is just as bad.
