"yeah a bit on the sluggish side seeing as I went for a ride in a 1200bhp + 300bhp nitrous Toyota Supra at Max Power live in july now that was one seriously fast car."

jesus F~~#ing christ what a load of pricks, they can not be serious?!?!?!? 11,500rpm, 3.2 ltr V6, 12 injectors that cant be physically fitted into the inlet run, hybrid Sierra turbo, TITANIUM PISTONS!! 850 bhp + the NOS, all for Ł8000 development costs!!!!!
What the hell are MAD, REYLAND, ZOO etc messing about at?!?!? V6 COSWORTH all the way baby MAD ROD chose the wrong Cosworth motor to try 200+MPH in a road legal car, somebody has to tell them that cant be real? I thought TOP BOSS twin turbo 24v 3door Cossie was the most powerful road car at 486BHP? That s hilarious!!!

damn!
i've just read this thread on another forum and was only popping over here to post it myself
mind you though, i don't think i have the heart to tell the guy that the granny V6 will break into bonnet shaped bits at 8k+
though the idea of posting on there does intrest me
one person sign up
then let the password and log in details "accidently" appear somewhere
there might be a spot of flooding to be had

Now now.... I actually know of a mk2 Granada with a GENUINE RACE PROVEN 1000bhp which does near 200mph and runs the standing 1/4 in the 10's
"Yeah yeah, bet your lying" I hear you say but no I am deadly serious! I have seen it run!
Only thing is, it has an 8litre US V8 engine, biggest supercharger you ever seen and 250bhp of nitrous Oh and has HUUUUUUUGE rear tyres and don't look fuck all like a Granny - actually looks a lot like a pro-stock drag racer - It jsut uses the Granny base and floor pan Still has Granada on the log book tho
Belongs to a local guy called Fred who is the racing partner of my ex boss - he (my ex boss) has a gorgeous mk1 Mex with a 7litre Windsor V8, 850bhp inc gas and runs low 11's
Sold that tho now and has a monsterous Chevy truck with a 10, yes TEN, litre GM V8, over 250bhp of gas should be good for 1000/1100 bhp and although not run yet, should be good for high 9's, or at least low 10's

Not got any pics cos when I saw it run (was working for my exboss, who runs a security co, and was doing security at Avon Park for the pro stock nationals event) I didn't bring my digi cam
It don't resemble a Granny in the slightest tho! Kinda looks like this tho;
Very similar bodykit/shell (all one piece glass/carbon fibre IIRC)

Thrush, exactly what I was thinking, this could be full on drag car with complete new chassis arrangement, bit like john tebenems (spl) ford probe which has a ybb cossie in it producing 850+bhp on some dodgy rocket fuel!!
we will just have to wait for the piccys, if they ever appear.I will sit on the fence with this one

Back to topic tho - this guy is full of shit.... Simple really - ain't no way a Ford 24v Cos (BOA) engine, eve nin the HIGHEST state of tune, even with a big over bore, even WITH a turbo AND supercharger is gonna make 850bhp, and certainly not 1000bhp with 250bhp of gas!
I mean look at some of the things he has said - he talks about TT rating their 24v kit at 350bhp - err, TT never made a kit for the 24v They made em for the 12v 2.8 (single) and 2.9 (twin) but not the 24v - else there would be a lot more about and companies like Top Boss wouldn't be "specialist" in turbo'ing them as there would be bolt on kits left over from TT.....
The guy talks shit, hence no pics or dyno charts....
Saying that, if he DOES prove it then I will remove three ribs and glady suck my own bell end

I think all you need do is search the guy's other posts.
e.g.
"I have sumbitted this poll to see whether you think dials the change colour with the revs are a good idea or not."

Look a the quote about the 1200bhp Supra at Max Power show - he goes to Max Power shows FFS - as if that Supra was 1200bhp! Maybe it might be if it was at a Jpa special show, but at Max P show it could be standard and everyone told would belive it is 1200bhp

I've just spoken to my guy.... he seems positively SANE compared with this FUCKING DERANGED CNUT
To be fair, the guy I am having the bet with is a really cool bloke... if a bit confused by a shonky old over reading Ford Speedo. (I hope! )
The bet is still on and hopefully I will have Ronnie there with his Skyline to show him what a REALLY fast car feels like.

TT did make a kit for the 24v they just never made a basic cut down version of the kit. A cut down version would have been good for around 350bhp but would have been in the region of 5k and as your average granada owner isn't into modding cars and sticking 24v's into xr4x4 wasn't really common 5 years TT didn't bother.
To get a 24v's to sustain revs above 6.5k you need to add a ladder frame to the bottom, but 11+k

DEYTUKURJERBS
That bloke/kid IS talking utter tripe, but....
Gimme enough cash to do it and i garuntee i could get a 850/1000bhp 24v cossie lump built.
Bet the heads with work can flow a shatload more than a single YB head can, and the rest is easy.
