Default Group A head gasket for S2 - pros and cons?

I'm getting a full gasket set for my engine when I rebuild it, and I was looking at the set which includes the Group A headgasket over the standard one...

Anyone got any experience with these and are they worth the extra?

Any help appreciated

Ford gasket- direct from Ford, always- Mine uses a ford gasket.

For an example- it was started on sat afternoon and as soon as she was warmed up we ran a bar through it- today she's had up to 28psi.

Woodford Garage Motorsport do the whole group A engine gasket kit including bolts for just over a ton, so the Ford one should be about the same, wil give them a bell to find out 2moro

Genuine ford ERST is best.

I used a Grp A on a 1600 cvh and the gasket bore is too big, its a Felpro one from a 1.9 usa engine.

It is the corect size for a 2.0zvh though. Don't know at what boost it becomes a liability though, I'm going to run 10psi and keep it safe.

Only Ford make a gasket AFAIK specific to an ERST.
