Default Cheap track car?

I've started building the engine now for my XR2 Zetec Turbo, so getting closer to getting it on the road ready for some track action, however before I take it on track next summer, I want to get into practice and attend a few days next year to get to grips with different tracks and my technique etc.

So, I want to buy something cheap that I can use on track to practice in, as opposed to stuffing the XR2 once its finished

Just wondering what sort of cars would be OK on the track? The cheaper the better ideally, choice suspension mods etc, performance not an issue as its more just to get used to the tracks and technique of my driving instead of all out speed.

Cheers

JK

205 it is then. Done a bit of Googling and they all seem to be positive comments.

Gotta find one now
