Bought a tv couple of weekends ago, Samsung 40inch 1080p lcd and when its playing films on digital, like Channel 5 films the people are too crisp yet the background looks fake, its hard to describe really, but the films dont look real,

although i dont have the same problem when watching normal programs eg. eastenders etc?!?

Any ideas

there are loads of suggested settings on avforums

try turning off Movie Plus mode

standard
dynamic
movie

user

just play around with the screen settings
