1st South West PassionFord Meet--Top Night
BIG THANKS GOES TO DOUG AND SIMON FOR GETTING THIS SORTED, TOP WORK FELLAS
Well all in all a top night i think
Was good to see and catch up with a few of the Familier faces and meet a few more aswell
Had a "Interesting " run down there with both Shings and my mates RWD Fiesta Cosworth being run-in.......You would never of guessed
Found the Pub easy enough, just the parking was a little thin on the ground
2nd Pub was spot on though
The poor woman behind the bar didnt know what fucking hit her
2 Locals sat at the bar, All of a sudden the sound of rumbling engines can be heard, before she knew it the was near on 30 people rushing to the bar
Good run home to with us 3 a breast racing down the motorway
Roll on the next one, can see it getting VERY big

Thanks Tiff.........was a good meeting
I only just got back - in "limp home" mode for the whole 78 mile journey due to the securing clip comming off the throttle cable Simom (SECS) attached it back on with cable ties - was fine - but had to make do with half throttle (maximum) ALL the way back...........12.45 AM...just glad to have got back home without AA recovery.
Got lots of pictures INCLUDING a good one for a caption compitition - will post em tomorrow

Oh yeah, i knew i knew the name
The brockworth council estate gyppo pub
Thats a decent place to have it actually, if you go there next time you can all get off the Bypass at the Brockworth junction, head towards Browckworth, turn left at the roundabout at the Shell garage, and your there.
It SEEMS like the middle of nowhere from the direction you came, but its 2mins walk from Scabby Brockworth if you come from the other way so if anyone wants fat birds with perms or heroin then your quite local
And the Shell garage on the roundabout i mentioned right by that pub sells Optimax too if that helps... (As sounds like you went the very "special" way there)

Note to anyone following Simon (SECS) don't get within about 15 foot of his backbumper if u value your paintwork

And guess whitch car had to limp home for 78 miles at 50 - 60 MPH with a throtle cable attached by cable ties, with less than 50% throtle movement? Yup! The the shonky 8 injector car with T4, Quaife g/box/diffs and tank full of Optimax
