Phil, I have access to a super flow engine dyno near me.
If you would like, I could put your engine on this and get it mapped
properly by an expert mapper (not me ! )
This can be done for a "reasonable" amount of money.

Have a good think about this before discounting it !
(unless you have now got someone else to do it)

SECS.........i am doin it myself in conjuction with a pro..well he giving me advice on settings etc...and no its NOT Karl

Do NOT worry if the engine melts as i will NOT blame you or the S8 unless i could prove a fault with your ECU .....as you say the whole point of this ecu is for people to have a go themselves

The only thing that worrys me is your persistance in getting it mapped by a pro..tried that but he knew less than me IMO on this ECU as i have instructions from another source who even though DOESNT map S8 knows about mapping with aftermarket ECU's ....The worry is you think the ECU may fook up as that is all YOU have to worry about re my engine..ROFL.

I am REALLY enjoying myself...and please stop making out i am dumb and you HAVE to use a pro to do it for you,if so why the fook did i go S8 ...i am learning just like from a nobody i built and specced my engines in which people said wouldnt last longer than 500 miles...you worry bout your OWN engines choice of tuner etc

Phil,
I do not think you are dumb at all but only want the best for you
and of course positive feed back for me which is my ONLY concern.
The ecu is more than capable and proven to do its job.
As long as you are happy then I am too !

Enjoy yourself

have you had good experience with it? i.e. can you easily hear when det happens? have you compared it to the flattened pipe and tube method?

My problem is that if your engine melts, I will get the bad publicity
as my ecu is controlling the engine and from my experience,
most are looking for ammo to fire at me and you just may provide it
for them unintentionally.
Not everyone understands that the ECU is just a tool to provide a job
as instructed by the mapper.
to be fair here simon you (and all) know that phil will publicly document his each and every move on his daily mapping flounder posts so how anyone can translate that into your fault is beyond me lol
