OK Vibratechnics are expensive at around £90 for 2 mounts, but how good are poly mounts compaired to vibratechnics and Standard mounts for durability and noise vibration reducing etc, since mine seem to be knackered,

They would be for a fezza turbo, Cheers

In my experience Vibratechnics are best, then standard, then poly!
Obviously they go in that order for noisiness as well!

What power/torque is your frst running?

um its about 190hp not sure on torque

spec is

Standard cam
T3 at 12psi
Beige injectors
195 superchip
-31
KnN
custom exhaust
FMI

Its got a LSD and a AP four paddle so don't know if that'll give the mounts more abuse

Also im putting a Kent cam in, in the near future

the back gearbox mount has gone so was wondering if i would need to upgrade at this power etc.

Cheers

2wd i prefer the standard mounts i dont like noise or vibration on a road car no way

4wd use uprated mounts because if the standard one breaks your fooked , it will take the driveshaft clean out

I'd probably stick with standard then mate at that power. Or I think Vibratechnics do a middle-of-the-road mount, like fast road or something instead of the solid one!

mounts
I had vibratechnics ones in my 4wd and to be honest i wish i'd never put them in, it made a noise through the whole car, if it was a track day car or you were really giving it abuse then maybe but mine was an every day car that got on my nervs after a while.

This is because very few people seem to realise that they do two different sorts, and unless you ask for the normal fast-road ones, they just sell you the competition ones . Also, see my comments in the link below regarding the fitment of the gearbox mount .

i had the same prob,i just ordered them(vibratechnics) without really looking into the options i then fitted them and hated them. Then i think Mike R told me about the fast road ones. I fitted them and the car drove perfectly....I still have a set of competion 4wd mounts sitting around if someone wants them cheap
