P100 as in pick up truck? If you try and get private cover, then its expensive. Try getting quotes on commercial and it'll be cheaper

What is your insurance like on a 1.ol fiesta?

Insure one fully comp, then pay for a parent/mate to be insured fully comp on the P100 and you drive it.

unfortunately after a ban the insurance rapes you ,mine goes up 15% for each 3 points and another 25% if i reach 12 points and get banned. that quote of yours does seem excessive. what were you banned for?

Jeez! Who you been ringing? I Presume you've tried the usual suspects, Flux, Performance Direct etc, and not just relying on web quotes and 'regular' insurers?

How long you been driving? Any NCB? I had a year's ban and extended retest and my quotes were no where near that even for a Legacy GT I was considering..

or at least be a bit more careful and not get caught
such a high quote just for breaching the 12 point barrier does seem harsh unless you points that took you over the limit were for drink driving and driving with no insurance

Jacko i insured a VW caddy as a motorcycle carrier before. Cheap as fook! Will have a look who it was with if i can find old cover note. Used it all the time and got pulled in it. Think it had to have a bike on the back or on the way to pick one up to be covered. All you have to say is that u are going to pick your bike up from your mates
