small oil burning issue with my fiesta rs turbo - advice ;-)
im having a small issue with my fiesta rs turbo burning a small amount of oil. i have recently had my oil return plumbed into the sump as the standard oil return is rubbish. here is what i have replaced to try and solve this matter-
oil return now into the sump for better drainage (this is originally what i thought was causing it with the standard t2 return)
new standard breather
cleaned all existing breather hoses
had a step-gap seal put into the turbo (for exhaust)
replaced stem seals with genuine ford items
dry compression test @ 170psi over all 4 cylinders
i get a oil smell when i come to a stand still from driving, with a tiny tiny amount of smoke. when on idle i revv the car up and see some smoke but does not smell oily for some reason? more of fumes. the car has been off the road for a while now so im hoping it may need a good long drive.
please advise me on what else i may need to check - my car is on 47k, all standard engine wise and im the 3rd owner.
