Any PES fans on here?

Got the new one yet? I got it for the PS2 today.

What does everyone think? I'm a bit disappointed to be honest.

Maybe I'm just too used to the older one

 

got it this morning on the PS3, personally i think it's amazing

Mildly disappointed with the last 2 or 3, but this is awesome

love shirt-pulling, diving and roughing people up!

 

maybe that's where I'm going wrong, mine is on PS2 and you get none of that

we're having a tourny on the PS3 at my mates tomorrow though so will see how I get on with it there

 

Rabmc from on here is a die hard, 6 hours straight every day man told me its the same old story, not the best at the start but reels you in like a junkie to a bag of kit

I am torn between buying PES and FIFA for PS3.
Whats the major differences between them both?

 

PES is an awesome, realistic football sim

FIFA isn't

(put simply)

 

the ps2 wont be helping things

 

The PS2 version which i got monday is simply pro evo 6 but with updated team line-ups, more footballs to choose from (how exciting ) new menu's & different teams which have been licenced. Really disappointed in Konami this time round

 

I`ve heard that PES doesn`t have fully licensed teams but you can change it so they are, is this correct?

 

you can buy an update on e-bay that has all the correct kits etc

Is it really better than FIFA?

 

previous ISS Pro games have defo been better than the FIFA equivalent, i have FIFA 08 and am VERY impressed..although yet to play ISS to compare...but i'm more than happy with FIFA

Although last year, people had them as a digital download, and I saved the file to a PS2 Max Drive then transferred it to my PS, so I didnt have to buy a memory card or send mine away.

I haven't seen this available yet, but it has only been out for one day.

It has ALWAYS been better than Fifa, but my mate got Fifa 08 for his PS3 and it looked really good, and PES for the PS3 looks awesome, so there maybe won't be much in it.

 

ahhh but what 1 do i buy for the ps3 lol

 

i read a review that said it was terrible on the ps3? slowdown was so bad that they decided it was unplayable?

i've got it pre-ordered aswell

 

all you need if FIFA 08 on the PS3... its quality..!

 

i've got fifa mate, i was gonna trade it in for pro ev

 

IMHO players in fifa look like robots. In pes, the player's body move more realisticly, the running, shooting passing are far better close to reality than in fifa, In fifa its like u have a plastic player running down the field.
