Default Car in private garage - who insures????

If i've SORN my car and it's parked in the garage, who offers insurance for peeps who don't wish to use their cars on the road for a period of time whilst they restore them so that it is insured incase anything should happen to it whilst parked in my garage??????

i am with the RS owners ( domminion / boncaster i think ?? )

my car is "laid up" with them for less than £200 for a year..

Basically it's insured for fire and theft only so it should be a lot less. I'd double check house insurance before assuming it's under that. I doubt it is...........

try kit car insurers as their policies are very similar to their build policies

about 100 quid a year for some

Boncaster through the RSOC do lay up policies as do a few others, Flux is one of them, lay up on my saph at the end of this month will cost me £130 for 12 months, that covers fire, theft and damage while she is hibernating
