The poor sod was proper yelping in pain couldnt keep still
I stopped with him till the end and i was absolutly gutted about it.
Couldnt get a vet out to help him in time.
I'm just relieved he knew that i was with him. And he cuddle'ed up to me

Lewis was nearly 9 and Levi the other one is nearly 10. i just hope it doesnt effect Levi that much and he starts to go downhill as you sometimes hear about. they were joined at the hip so to speak. my 5 year old twin girls took it really well but i suppose they are to young to really understand, the boxers have been with them from when they were born and have grown up with them.

I know how you are feeling, it takes me forever to get over loosing a dog.
The trouble is that you cannot explain to his mate what has happened. I had 2 German Shepherds that did everthing together and when one died suddenly the other poor dog could not understand what had happened to his mate. He just pined for her, even when I got another to keep him company he still seemed to miss her. I hope yours manages to get over it without problems.

Really really feel for ya mate.....
I lost smelly ellie last november, and it still hits me like a rock when i think of her.......
Think of all the fab times you had, when he did stupid things and when he used to dribble all over ya!! It'll soon make you smile.
