... Would you buy?
Will be my only car (Im loosing my job with a company car) so needs to be semi reliable Im not working far from home for my new job so fuel costs are not really an issue Nor in insurance.
Just want something 'Fun' and reliable(ish)
What would you be looking at?
So far i thought about a Clio 172 Cup or something like that?

What are the Jap imports Like the GTIR and Glanza like for getting parts for though, I still associate imports as having a bit of a stigma with regards to parts and service back up.

I've never had problems getting bits for my Pulsar, I've had a clutch and 3 CV boots from Nissan within a day of ordering them. My local Nissan dealer couldn't give a monkies that it's an import, a few hundred were sold over here as Sunny GTi-R's so 99.9% of parts are the same.
Other little bits like seat belt clasps, alternator, strut brace, engine have come second hand from owners club people. No more expensive that cossie stuff.

I know M3s are great, I had a blast in My mates M3 evo with No2 and it was a rocket!
Old mans a BMW Tech so would be handy i guess
Corrados are most deff not my cuppa, and ive heard the VR6 is very Nose heavy and prone to understeer.
Have just found 3 cars i like the look of bit over my price range but might be able to work around that -
