Mondy Tdci's. 115 vs 130?
 

I'm after one of these to use for work and general running about.

Is there a huge difference between them? And whats the actual difference engine wise, is it simply a different map? If so, can't the 115 be easily upgraded to 130??

Lots of questions, advice appreciated. :top:

The 130 has a variable van turbo were as the 115 has a static vane. My 115 has been remapped by MSD and it gives the exact same performance as a 130 with a tuning box on, infact mine holds the power a little further up the rev range.

If it were me I'd go for the 130, but I wouldn't be disappointed with a 115. Oh and try and got one with a 6 speed box!

I'm after a 130, 6 speed, has to be an estate.

Got a budget of £5k max. All the ones i've found so far have been to the moon and back tho... :roll:

Should be a few decent ones for 5k, not like they are rare cars :cry:

give it a year or two until the new mondeo is on the second hand market, prices of the mk3 should drop considerably ;)

i had a 130, very nice powerfull and economical motor. I had 600 mile to a full tank :eek:
