I have never once said that the Escort guy is blameless, nor resorted to petty Vauxhall slating or fat jibes.
Facts as i see them are
Guy gets overtaken.
Guy launches a bit of an attack on Escort owner
Escort owner retaliates....
i dont blame him for that, right or wrong i would do the same.

you should just get both said partys together at a pre-organised meeting point which is posted up on all car forums and let the two lads have a "straightener"
lol
whilst all the keyboard warriors who think its big and clever to post up without knowing anything also there to nose look on and bay for blood
these would include some of these idiots who come and register then first or second post are contradicting all known facts about the day lmao

i say winner of said fight has a slap up tea as a reward paid for by loser

you are now going to give a 4th side of view from your own saying that you saw something, but you don't know what you saw was different ot what someone else saw, and seeing as there are already 4 "eye witnesses" in this thread already with at ealst 3 different onions as to what went on i think this is another case for the pf jury to hang the fat fella out to dry just bceause he drives a vectra
as i said, i can't see the vids at work so i have no onion about the matter myself, but from what i've read on a few of the other forums it seems that the fat lad picked on the wrong bloke and got a bit of the wrong sort of pasting for his effrots

Just shows how one sided views can be so wrong and potentially damaging.
I know Mark very well, and I can honestly say, from some of the comments made to him on here Im glad you you are all not mates of mine.

I love the fact that everyone on here likes to seem so grown-up, yet most of the time act more immature than my 11 year old daughter.
As already said, there is video footage from his car which shows Mark did not punch anyone, it then shows him driving calmly and slowly back the VXON stand (NOT dangerously as everyone seems to be saying), then it shows the Escort driver coming over to have another go, while trying to get afew kicks and punches in, and swearing like a trooper infront of a young child. You can hear Mark laughing at him and telling him to go away.
I would personally love to post it on here, but as requested by Mark and VXON are taking it further, it has been asked not to be posted.

Martyn have just read your post and am quite dumbfounded by your comment as a moderator.
I have read the postings and have to say the following.
We all enjoys cars and like to think we are the next Lewis Hamilton and yes while we do tracj days, there are always people with different standards of experience and ability.
I watched the video footage of the RS Driver overtaking, and while im no expert, the overtake he did seemed to be fair and not life dangering to any parties.
What followed from the postings was a Rather frustarted Vectra driver not happy with this move and procedded to mount his frustrations on the rs driver. Like many people that drive and have suffered road rage after being carved up or nearly rammed of the road by a car driver.
Even the most calmest of people can loose there cool behind the wheel.
What followed was the RS Driver defending him self after being attacked, this is human nature and if i had this done to me, it would of been a blood bath. However the reports of the RS Driver coming back for seconds if true could be deemed out of order to.
Members of the public and most of all the people that attend track days go to share the same enjoyment as others. Its not acceptable to have grown men fighting in the view of children, as this sets the wrong impression.
I am glad i was not there wth my daughter as i would of been cross.
The vectra driver is like any other person, ok he drives a Vauxhall but that does not make him bad, and the comments about him being a Fat C**t are un called for, he lives his life his way and we live ours our way.
People will jump on the band waggon and as it goes we live in a world with freedom of speech and able to have our views.
It would be good to let the correct boddies take the right course of action and put this matter to a close.
At the end of the day it was a action packed day where hot heads got the better, but it does not make either person bad for this and both parties could be very sound people.
