a have got data logs some where that with 31 actuator and a 34 ill find them out but the out come was a on average 300/400 rpm lower psi pick up on the 34 to the 31 and a quick increase of psi on a 4 gear run so it was definatly hitting at least 8 different sites on a load up and it was a lot leaner as i had never hit those sites with a 31

Boost is boost, running a -34 will not lower the boost threshold so if your map was mapped by an expert fuel and ignition maps will not need changing.Boost maps will however need changing or the valve flow rate can be changed by changing the jets

I accept the point about the rejetting of the amal valve, but this will be to achieve the required boost levels. 'Ceteris Parabus', if the boost is already being achieved as required, then no adjustement would be required.

i should imagine that no live map on a webber is wrote from start to finish a good tuner would hold a good file on various setups so when contacted to do a map for car they will pick thenearest file to it then make the nessesary adjustments thats needed hence a better map to suit small changes
but i may be wrong but if im not i would love to have a look at theres files bet theres some bloody good info

I think that you are probably right. I have done work with a local garage who tune various track cars. This is a slightly different skill, as there is little or no interest in cold running/ idle etc.
Interestingly, the guy that does it once he has had a bit of time with the car, can almost interpolate the rest of the map points based on a few initial runs!!!! Then he goes back and makes corrections till he is happy with the overall map. but even so, it is a rare skill in my opinion!
