Any got a calculator to work this out?

Or wanna work out mine

(2wd saph, standard transmission, 205/40/17, 7.3k rev limit)

not sure.

2wd saff on 205/50/15 is 160.9

so i guess you are over 170

I work it out on 22.2mph per 1000rpm giving you 162 ish, but then you have your rolling radius increase so yeh wont be far off 165 imo

With a T3/4 turbo, you are unlikely to pull those revs in top .

What has the rev counter got to do with the limiter if you know the rev limit on the chip?

for a proper top speed calculator that takes into account virtually all factors (not just engine speed * gearing = top speed, but important things like power/torque spread and gearing, aerodynamics etc), get lapsim from bosch.

available as a free download from bosch motorsport and if used properly and the time taken to enter all variables correctly is very accurate and very useful. top software, and top of bosch to make it freely available

i hit the limiter in 5th, fook knows where the rev counter was at, stu put my rev limiter at 7000.


so next theory can it be done????

Unless you have a chip reader, how would you KNOW for sure what the limit was?

For example, say the rev limit was 6750, which you hit, but the rev counter was showing 7k .
