yep custom NMS one. Fairly close to a 285T profile. I was previously running a 285T2 cam.
Very very pleased with the cam from Karl. It made boost almost at idle and revved very well.
Was very good value too. drop him an e-mail for a price only took a few days to come too.

Try getting in touch with Piper, they've just sent me a press release for a new cam designed for the ZVH. It's similar to the 285T and is available off the shelf

He supplies followers with it as required. I got anti pump on mine. I wouldn't have thought you'd be revving high enough for solid TBH. A set of anti-pump and double vavle springs should let you rev high enough.
Nick - do they mention what the profile is?

Only info I've got is that it's a modified version of the 285T2.
The part no is ZVHT3.
I did have a spec sheet on it but I've put it somewhere safe and can't find it now

im sure it will rev to that if you';ve got the right components, but its the cam and valvetrain like you say that needs to be sorted- and you need a head to flow the air that high up the revrange to make it worthwhile!

Cheers for clearin that up Jon/Nick/Rolls etc.......
So to re-cap,
Piper cam (with mr Norris's special profile) ZVHT3
Anti pump lifters
Double valve springs
I assume that piper would be able to put the whole kit together

I heard bad things about Newman...
I would 100% recommend Karls cam but speak to him about it he will be able to give you the best advice. Remember the 285T and 285T2 are designed for a standard 1.6cvh engine with standard head and turbo.
