The wife really pissed me off…….
We went to the GP on Sunday, so we had to set off pretty early to get a good seat. I packed the car with all our gear, and said to the wife, are you sure all the camera equipment is in the bag. She says yes. The camera is fairly new, and this was the first time I was taking it to a motor sports event, to see how it performed. I’ve a got a Canon 5D, 70-200mm 2.8 L IS USM, 24-70mm 2.8 L USM and a Canon 2X converter, mono pod amongst other things. Anyway we set up, and the GP2 race gets underway, so I get the camera out with the 70-200mm lens, and look for the 2X converter. I can’t find it anywhere. So I say to her, do you know where the 2X converter is? She says I took it out this morning to make the bag lighter. WTF???? As you know a 2X converter weighs fuck all, and would make no difference to the weight of the bag. I was really pissed off, as I where we were sitting; I couldn’t get any close-ups of the cars. I’ve learnt my lesson; I’ll be checking the camera equipment in future.
Needless to say, I proceeded to drink the whole day, and she drove home.

Paid £1575 for the package in the charity Auction. But that was well cheap as I don't think anyone there was really interested or knew just what the package really was.
I can put you in touch with lots of people who can sort you out tickets for what ever you want really if you are willing to pay. And I guess your boss is

Does he like driving?
Book some places on this www.motorsportsensation.com
Make sure you take a place yourself Its the DADDY of a day out. Truely mindblowing. Its only 50 mins from London by car if he needs convincing. Or 25 mins from Paddington. Or you can chopper in as well. Thats probably what I would do with unlimited Budget.
If you book up for it and are going to drive yourself let me know and I will book in too

back on topic - slightly - anyone know where you can get a 2x converter for the front of the lens that would screw in where a filter goes rather than between body and lens? at a reasonable price?
