We were LUCKY - water only got under the house, but it fucked the electrics for 4 days and our floor has warped.
My mates, mate was the guy who died in the floods in Hessle / Hull.
SO YOU CAN FUCK OFF with your jokes!!!!
I feel for everyone who wasnt as lucky as i was!
houses, shools etc ruined - some schools will not be re-opened until next year.
People lost treasured, personal belongings.

Lets hope the badly affected areas get the help they need.
Hull has been forgotten because of Doncaster / Sheffield, but i dont blame the people, i blame the media!!

Ok, so the UK's helped with aid in certain 3rd world countries, too right we should as were one of the richest countries in the world BUT in which way can any of the 3rd world countries help us?
It's not like they've got much themselves
I agree aid & help should be getting to the places hit in the UK a lot quicker but I'm sure the people involved in helping are trying their best & aren't just sitting around having afternoon tea.

i didnt bother going to my own house - i went and helped a family member and his neighbour instead.
driving home, i saw someone whos car had broken down, i offered them a lift home, they said they had someone coming for them, else i would've taken them home.

I get so wound up about England, and all the aid we give to other countries when we still have people in England (Flood victims etc) who don't get any help at all.
I think it's time we started concentrating on the UK as opposed to other countries.
And I can't understand how we continue to take so many immigrants (An no I'm not racist....I'm a realist), house them, give them unemployment benifits etc, when there are young people here who are left on the waiting list for years for housing, because they will never be able to afford to buy a house, because of the spiraling house prices. My nephew is now 24....damned hard working lad, want's to move out of his parents house to be independant, and also realizes that his parents find it hard now that he's in his twenties. He can't get a mortgate cos he does not earn enough, so applied for a council house as soon as he was old enough. Meanwhile he has to sit back and wait on a never ending waiting list.....and watch imigrants come to this country and be housed immediately.
England and it's in house politics really suck sometimes.
Sorry for my Rant, but the English govenrnment really needs to sit down and think about what it's been doing lately and where all the money is being spent.
