I've just seen something on the road that really got up my nose and this time it did it big time. Was sitting in the passenger seat coming off m25 and was going along nicely on a roundabout (lights were all green) when some cop car has blue lights flashing and barrels out of one of the exits on the roundabout. My mate slowed down obviously to let it pass and it when up the same exit as we did. Then we find about 2 minutes later its just sitting up the front of the traffic queue as if nothing happened and going at normal pace.

Really got on my tits that and its not the first time I've seen it happen where coppers cant be bothered to wait for light to turn green so just put their blue lights on, go through to the front and turn them off. this time it really pissed me right off. What gives them the right to do that just cos they cant be bothered. Next time I see that happen and I'm close enough to them, I would seriously lay into them!! FAT CUNTS!

That may be true as such and if that applied to this case them fair enough but it looks all too fishy to me. Lights on just to go through a red light and get to the front of traffic then happily parade along.

I remember a few years back (probably the best example) in Barnet where I was waiting at the lights (passenger again) when a cop car pulled along side us, slowed down a bit put the blue lights on, went through the red light and promptly turned them off

I see what you mean though mate about another car being closer so they turn theirs off but in some cases like the one above, they use their blue lights for bloody convenience!!

 

Blue lights are very effective at clearing traffic.

A friend of mine used to overhaul AMBULANCES.But the ambulance service would only let you do them one at a time so there would only be 1 out of service.Anyway he,s on his way to LONDON from BIRMINGHAM to drop a finished one off a pic up the next one.

I was 4 o'clock on a friday when he was just heading back to BIRMNGHAM and hit a shit load of traffic.

Flicked the blue lights on and drove 80 miles in 40 minutes.

He said they are the best invention for traffic busting.
