GT42 TURBO

If its a genuine one, specced for a car and not a diesel truck, and in the UK its very cheap compared to UK prices.
My friend Lee and also the bloke whos doing my engine bought 2 at 550quid each inc delivery from America and they were the large compressor 1000bhp versions rather than the smaller 800bhp versions.
Most places in the US still charge about 1k in our money for em, shitloads more in this ripoff country.
Way too big for anything under about 2.5litres tho

Essex-- Theres a LOT of different T34s mate, youl probably find its nothing like a RS T34, its probably better, but it wont be a straight fit id be very sure, esp on turbo-manifold flange and turbo-exhaust flange, but nothing a bit of engineering cant fix.
Who they from, cheap dont nececerily mean good, but from the USA this sorta price is fairly usual

are you being serious? are these PROPER t34 escort cosworth turbos or these diesel hybrid things? will it fit STrAIGHT ON i am going to get one on saturday so if you can do me a
new proper t34 turbo, brand new with 360 bearing and a .55/or .63 exhaust housing i will have it off you mate instead
does it come with a gaurantee? i find this hard to believe as it is so cheap
p.s. it is going onto a 2wd manifold

They might be for cars, they might be better than normal esc cossie T34s, but il put money they not got the 3bolt exhast flange (If this for the american market it prob got a 4bolt flange, or a 5bolt thing that needs a turbo elbow similar to what ERSTs have, and many jap cars have), not at all suprised if the manifold flange is a bit different (prob a T25 one, most are), and youd want to know what the compressor side of things is, tho thats PROBABLY better than a esc cossie T34 one as most T34s use big T4 comps.
The ex and manifold flanges arnt a big deal to get adapted anyhow, bit of cutting n welding...

I find it hard to believe that someone is knocking out genuine Garrett GT-42 turbochargers for that price. Sounds more like people getting mixed up in numbers and exact specs. I may be wrong but I don't think so.
Thanks - Sunny.
