Default insurance

I have my sapphire cosworth insured through boncaster using my full no claims and was thinking of buying a mk6 rs2000 as a runaround...how do i go about insuring both and using no claims discount on both???do boncaster cater for people with 2 rs's??? i carried out a online quote with peoples choice to get a idea of price, but it wouldnt let me use my no claims as its in use on the cosworth

regards mark

you cannot use your ncb on more than 1 policy so i understand it BUT some insurance companies will mirror your ncb.

have a look into that. prob best to ring up rather than tinterweb it.

you will have to build up ncb on your second policy the same as you did on your first policy.
Bummer isn't it......

Admiral do Multi car insurance! alternatively, you could just get Fully Comp insurance on the RS2000 then your Coz would be insured 3rd party!

yea but he would have to insure some1 else on the cossie to use it 3rd party, as when driving a car 3rd party, the car has to be insured on its own way already to

swiftcover.com allows both your ncb to be used on 2 policies as long as you're the policy holder on both policies. I don't know if they will cover for your saph cossie though. You got to be certain age/have decent amount of ncb. A mate tried @ 25 yrs old 2 yrs ncb couldn't get insured on an Evo.

also, I don't know your age, but it might not be such a bad price that you are going to get if you shop around if you start a fresh policy with no no claims on it. might be worth it. since you have full ncb, I think you are probably old enough an dhave enough driving experience to be able to start a fresh policy without paying a shedload of cash
