Its nice to get some feed back as it aint been out for two years or more except for runs up my mates air field,i look forward to using it again and doing some shows and track days, it might not be a multi million pound track car but i own it and its all payed for.
Its not someones race car that i just work on.
The wheels are off a touring car, they are bbs mag alloy split rims which i found in a bad way and overhauled.

Gorgeous car!

Didnt this car have a carbon bonnet and gold rims once? Or was that a different car?

Sorry to drag up an old thread...

but this car is a PROPER blast from the past!

This was the first cosworth i had EVER driven, and i was only 17/18 ( over 10 years ago!!) when i used to 'chauffer' dan to fourwentways petrol station when all the other petrol stations were closed when he fancied a chocolate bar!

So its Dans fault i have the bug!!

Stunning car!

i hope it to be done for the end of the year the car look the same on the out side to some peoples dissapointment(lights/exhaust) but they are my choice but as for the rest well were do i start,it nik" linered , biggest valve poss" without clipping the bore and all the other internals to make it work, different tubular manifold ,same t66,60mm indy car waste gate, old f1 shutter on the front of the t66,better dry sump system, indy car fuel inj" (over 1000cc)x4 ,new inlet plenium which is water cooled and has variable length trumpet ,1 off intercooler, tripple plate tilton clutch ,6 speed straight cut sequ" quaife box,and lots of one off stuff under the bay, inside is different to as the rad is in the boot ,flocked dash, stacks wrc dash, cage which is joint to turrets, wrc fuel cell with carbon cover were rear seats were and lot more stuff but its all good and its not totally striped so its got that car feel still if you know what i mean? which means if you wanted to buy it when its done then you would have to put a propper price on the table and thats if i wanted to sell??? as i have owned the motor for ten years

most of all the good fords are dated but the thing about cozys and most old school fords is that the older they get the better they look as these sort of cars will never return to production which makes you apperciate them all

What you need to do Dan, is stop messing around on here trying to figure out how to put pics up, and get back outside in that garage and get the damn thing finished!

Was good to talk to you at the weekend. I only seem to talk to you at Autosport and National Day, and every time I speak to you, you have some new crazy idea! Love the latest spec, make sure you let us take pics of it this time though, before you take it all to bits to start again!

i dont know which touring car ran these wheels but i have been told it on more than one ocassion and i do know that these type are harder to get than the center lockers, but bbs which cast new centers for you and they aint cheap either as i have a spare two but the powder coaters messed one up.
Hello nick here you go ,the third place i have spoke to ya and it wont come apart again after this build as i am so pissed at not using it and then you got all the little chav where i live that think at there jap motors are the law of the land (lol) when every one who knows anything will know that old school fords are the law.
Right i am gone try and get pics on here before the end of the bank holiday weekend, be warned the outside is covered in a shed load of dust( and thats a under statement)

I can beat that....on route to mine from Central Blasting in Banbury Parcelforce lost one of my centre's. This was two weels ago and its now officialy been declared lost Ive got a couple spares lined up but am waiting for parcelforce's claims system to hurry the fuck up so I can get them

Couldnt agree more on the local chav brigade comment...mine's been of the road for nearly 3yrs now...itching to get it finished!!!
