Default Cheapest way to courier alloy wheels... help!

I have bought a set of alloys from someone up in Halifax and he is being very awkward about delivering the wheels etc.. He said he was happy to meet halfway from Essex (about Rugby / M1) to which I was happy with also. He now says he doesnt want to / can't travel further than Sheffield :S (which is 180 my way, 40 his!!!!! ). I've already paid him £35 for delivery as well which makes it even worse!!

Does anyone know the cheapest way / company to get them couriered, or is anyone around the Halifax area and can pick them up and arrange to meet? (don't really trust this other guy now). Also does anyone know the rough weight of an 18" alloy with tyre?

Cheers
Chris

nah the total weight is 90kg for the wheels and tyres and postvan will only do up to 50kg (which is about £40 - so that x2!). They do a pallet which is £80 as well.

I dont mind meeting him halfway and keeping the postage money to cover his petrol but Sheffield!!! Fook me he needs some geography lessons!
