Default Router crashing??

For some time the ADSL Modem/Router in my office has been playing up. I have just noticed that it crashes as soon as the Rolling Road fan starts up. Now, the RR fan is over 11kw, so I suppose it doesn't take a genius to work out that it may cause issue's.

The router is plugged into one of these 'Surgemaster' adaptors, so shouldn't this be enough to stop it being affected?

Does the fan itself have any filtering - I doubt it.

Also, does the dyno system have power factor correction ?

Sounds like wiring travelled interference hard to cure without loads of
expense and an EMF survey.

Buy a cheap ONLINE ups and run your PC and router from it.

*** An online UPS is one that runs always from batteries and the batteries
are charged so there are no changeover spikes.
As opposed to one that switches the batteries in on power failure and
normally the mains goes through the UPS directly.

Get a UPS as stated, if your drawing this much current from the electrical system I would get them for the PC's as well
