Just wondered what the crack is with these and if they have loads of different models like the scoobys do. And if so which is the 1 to go for, and what are the tuning limitations ie transmission brakes etc :top:

I think there's a nismo special edition version that you can pick up with various upgrades over the standard GTR. Then there's the V-Spec I and V-Spec II derivatives

Always liked them ever since i got Gran Turismo for the original playstation :cry:

afaik they're all 2.6 twin turbo engined though as standard, but the sky is the limit tuning wise. Have seen them with over 1000hp :cry:

iirc r32s gtr just come in 1 spec can then get nismo add ons etc

I was wondering that, i have seen v-spec 1 and 2's o r33 gtr's but not on r32's. I suppose it makes life easier when buying 1 as its either a gtr or not lol. Whats the 4wd system like on them i've heard there very good and capable of 1000bhp but is tht just pub talk :?

Don't own one, but a mate does. 91 black r32gtr. so 2.6 strainght 6 twin turbo, incredible car for the money, just need to have the cash after to run it

4x4 systems one of the best, I know off, spend 150 on a small box of tricks and you have adjustable drive, ie 4x4 to rwd only!

he bought his and it developed a slight oil pressure issuse, so he drop the engine spent 1200 on gaskets , bearings , rings, seals etc, and now has one sweet running gtr at just under 400bhp somewhere

oh and its big for a car longer than a four door sierra! but you can only just fit midgets in the back 2 seats :cry:

So £150 notes and you can have switchable 4wd-2wd. I like the sound of that ;)

only one model 32gtr bar the nismo

very good cars, good engines and transmission and can take a lot of abuse

main thin wrong is the oil pump drive, so i would replace the il pump and drive straight away

my mate has a 32 and 34, the 32 is just insane, tubular manifold, steel rods, forged pistons, turbo i dont know but is the width of a fast ford mag :eek:

the car is running in rwd mode at the mo because theres a problem with the electronics and carnt seem to find it

but omg it shifts and you can good horsepower from a stock engine reliable aswell

just check for usuall body damage as the bonnets are alloy and very expensive to replace, front lights are hard to get hold of aswell being projectors,
also they rust on the sills and rear arches just like a sierra lol

and they are not that long! they look it but there not we lined my xr4x4 up against the 32 to see if it would fit in my garage as it looks very long, it was !inch longer :cry: about the same length as a saf :D
