unreal, a picture has never really mad me skip a heartbeat, but they did, that mans a legend
sharks are amazing creatures. i was up close to a basking shark the other day off ireland, they,re a more gentle breed but still a huge animal, we estimated this one to be about 20 feet. he was just sitting with his dorsel fin out of the water, more than likely 'basking'

Gowrie is WA where they seem to get a few more sharks but if those pics ever made mainstream press, they would be front page, I am sure of it over here

shark jaws can sell for thousands of pounds specially now there so hard to get hold of as hunting them is banned.
The jaws are not actually attached to the sharks skull like ours are, they're made so they can slide forward exposing the layers of teeth to grab the pray which is why in the first picture all you can see is its gums.
they have two long muscles running the length of there bodies which is where they get the power to jump out the water like that, they also have smaller muscles which they use for normal swimming so their always ready to strike
I watched a thing on sharks the other week

Do you think there is a cave somewhere at the bottom of the ocean where they nail up human bones, arms, legs and stuff?
I'd love to see one of them in real life and pet it

PassionFord Post Whore!!
WOW!!! Some great photos there!
If I remember correctly there's not actually that many Great White attacks in Australia or anywhere in fact. The majority of shark attacks are in America and often by Tiger sharks I think.

Absolutely fucking superb!
I LOVE Great Whites - have done for years - ever since I was a nipper and waaaaay before I saw Jaws for the first time!
I would LOVE to be on a boat like that and would I stick my arm out and touch one? Hell YES I would!!! To be able to say you''ve touched (as in properly touched, not just a split second single finger touch) one of the greatest, meanest, and baddest predators this planet has ever seen, or even better, to say you have been in the water with one and touched it, must be like saying you climbed the Eiger or something!
