Default How much would would a fully stripped Ford Puma weigh?

How many KGs roughly would a fully stripped ford Puma weigh? Hopefully all being well I should be the proud owner of one soon.

Cheers, Benni.

ROFL! No they don't and they never will know unless you tell them... I'll give you a "Ride" if you promise to keep your gob shut.

Fucking hell mate. Fantastic post. Shame I'm such a fat bastard and will put it all back in when my left leg enters the car.

How much will a decent cage weigh? LOL!

depends on what metal is used benni. Try looking on custom cages or safety devices websites.

Also no point doing it if you dont fit nice lieghtwieght buckets and perspex windows!!

you can get carbon parts made. a guy who sprints his puma has carbon bonnet and boot. you might be able to get fibreglass cheaper if someones got a mould.

Dont bother stripping it.

Going to all that effort to lose 100kg max (as you wont end up removing half the stuff mentioned im sure) and then watching someone who can drive better cane clean past you in a bog standard version is not a good look.

And then he sells it for full price as hes not totally fucked it by stripping it

I've just bought a rally prep one done by Imtec for Cosworth gear.Fully built up with cage and 2 seats it's 1100kg's.The tailgate still seems heavy but everything else is lightweight. It's a good alternative to an Escos as it's pretty tough getting the Escos down to that weight.

Maybe so, but they still sound good.

Do you get any Puma parts in then?

I will be removing everything I can Steve. And as for the driving, there is always going to be someone better than yourself no matter how good you are. We all have to start somewhere. And as for it not being a good look, I'm not to botherd about how I look mate I'm going to have fun not to try and impress other people.

Benni.
