If it's the one that Duncan owned, then It's the car I got built (from a brand new shell)

yeah he did for a little while, it was a quick motor for a 1.6 N/A with carbs :DD:

Most Gartrac G6's were RWD but they built a few 4x4 shells as well.

The one in the pic has the wide kevlar or alloy front & rear wings - so it's unlikely
someone would go to that much trouble and expense and keep it front wheel drive.

OK, but I'm sure the one Spadge had did not have the wide arches fitted.....did it?

So it looked more like a Series 2 (RST) "sleeper".

spadge crashed one looked like an S2

but before that didnt he own that one, or one like it for a few weeks with a cvh on carbs

Spadge had this one- its FWD and was 1600cvh on 48's
Underneath was pretty damn trick.

Dunc then had it and did a track day in it.

Chad bought/brought it from Dunc and was gonna do somet to it.

As with all Chads projects it ended up in bits and never got put back together.

Rich- XR4x4 on here had the shell and then sold swapped it for somet or somet like that.

Howcome the engines pushed right forward, suerly you'd want it as far back as possible?

maybe for grip but neve saw that before.

I cant remember the exact reason but it was forward and low- it had a massive big wing sump on it too..

Its actually tilted forwards and the gear shift inside the car was customised/lower down to accomodate the change in location of the engine

Spadge's car was a proper sleeper, looked just like a Series 2 on Rondells and WAS NOT wide arched! ;)

I had this car for a while but it just wasnt fast enouth for me lol, was going to build a big power engine for it but decided to buy a focus rs instead as i could use that on the road as well as the track, it had 150 bhp as i had it on the dyno, it had some trick bits on it and just need an engine to go with it all, i do have pics if you want some and doug its not the same car lol
