My bad... I dont visit that section of the forum too often since I sold my ST Escort Cosworth... But, one may be on the horizon again, hence my interest in your package

However, being serious for a moment, teh details are as follows:
I have always, from day 1, thought i could personally map the St Escos EEC system to produce far more than the normal 290bhp kit that we all do. The reason i never have done, is because i have never had a customer willing to leave me his car for a month, based purely on teh fact i "Think" i could do it... Understandable of course. Well, recently that changed.
We have pretty much finished the first stage of developing a bolt on stage 2 kit for the ST Escos thanks almost exclusively to RWD_cossie_wils very kind loan of his car to us.
The kit will comprise of:
It will all literally just plug in, no adjustments to make, just fit these components. Once fitted, the new conversion retains all the EEC IVs adaptive fueling abilities and of course the wasted spark and closed loop fuelling control system it has as std. The bay will look VERY much standard when you are finished.
The system needs some further polishing yet as we have sadly run out of fuel flow on the uprated Walbro ITP 048 fuel pump, which Will is going to pop down and replace early next week so we can push on, but all looks fine so far. At least the turbo is holding up this time.
Oh yes, a small point i missed that you were possibly interested in:
We will likely settle on a 28psi midrange overboost and 24psi held to the limiter on this stage 2 T34 conversion.
When this stage2 conversion is complete, Will and I will talk about rewriting teh software more comprehensively and fitting a bigger MAF, inlet cam, light porting, and some more power.

T25 manifold has a smaller port, about 1/4" all the way around. You could open it out, but by the time you have messed around, you might as well just buy a good 4x4 one for Ł40

Well, for over 12 years nobody could do anything with the mystical EEC IV, even though ive had the kit and wanted to try for 7 of them.

Rick.
A high impedance 55lb PH injector on a YB runs about 1ms at idle, so no problems at all.

To give you an idea though, here is what you will need on your T28 EsCos.
Parts list:
55lb injectors. Ł300
Cooler plugs. Ł50
Uprated pump. Ł150.
Chip will definately unlikely be anymore than Ł500.
Then you need a:
T34.48 with -34 fitted. (We dont sell the turbo )
LT 4x4 manifold (We dont sell)
Shouldnt be too bad compared to fitting a downgrade from a sierra as you dont have to buy the:
Loom
Ecu
Sensors
HT leads
Coil etc
Distributor... (Why fit a distcap back on your great engine?)
Plenum & throttle body Etc
And you are of course gaining closed loop and wasted spark as standard, not to mention adaptive fuelling and spark control.

yes, if we plan to go for the big 4-0 then i will be writing in a new MAF as explained in the original topic.
