have a look on here, They did my mates pug 306 DT Sport and it was awsome! |
It sounds good the dervdoctor also had a look at jbs design whats the main downfall to the engine on the 90bhp to lets say the 150bhp model ?
Camshafts/inlet manifold/turbo/ can anyone explain for me please so i can understand the restrictions on the 90bhp model? |
Sorry no idea, VW's are not my cuppa tea.... You will probably be best asking on Clubgti.com or edition38

Worth fitting a decat pipe too, i have on mine and gained 10bhp and about 20lbft torque :top:
Dont bother with the airfilter mods though, mine lost power with an induction kit  |
the decat pipe will be exactly the same one as the 1.8T, I got mine from ebay, £80 delivered and its a top piece of kit :top:

Passed test and already wanting to mod his car!! I hope he can afford his insurance. :D
VW Golf is a nice car. |
Stu already told him to go your place for a gentle remap :top:
Think he will be doing he has been on the clubgti forum and that askin around for tuning companies but i told him ur the man  Yes guys had it a WEEK WANTS MORE POWER typical i cant say out though im the worse for power hungriness the reason he got the 90bhp model was for insurance which is £2202 third party fire and theft in the dreaded M POSTCODE :wall: I told him not to worry stu will map its brains and goolies out for him and it will a different car :content: The days of your first car boy they bring back memories!!! :DD: |
How MUCH??
I'm glad I'm not him!! |
Thats releativly cheap for manchester and it all depends on wheather ur in m1-9 or m10-19 or m20-40
Unlucky for him and me we are M5 innercity although hands on heart never had car touched/stolen or crashed? 10 years ago the area was bad for stolen cars but the insurance companies are so still living in the past ?? |

We have the 90bhp version and it is SLOW! 35bhp extra from Stu would be great for the car
