Def one of the best bands of the 80's mate

Every time i hear one of their songs it always reminds me of back to when i had my first Mk3 Xr3i way back in 1992 !! It was a sunburst red one and had 14in RS 7 spokes on it and a full Janspeed system

They were the car to have back in them days and where i was from ( Orkney ! ) there were only 2 others and they were both bog standard black one's so mine got the best reactions from fellow admirers !!!

Also bought a Mk 3 XR3 at the same time i had the 3i and was as happy as a dog with 3 dicks !!!! 80's were a fantastic era and have nothing but happy memories from way back then, its only when the 90's kicked in that things started to go pear shaped!!!

John Parr - St Elmo's Fire
Then Jericho - Big Area
Roxette - Must Have Been Love ( )
Kim Wilde - Kids In America

Sooooooooo many classic tunes from the 80's - Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses, Motley Crue, Warrent, Slaughter, the list just goes on and on!

A lot of the songs about now are just reworked tunes from the 80's anyway like this one, the originals are always the best

Sadly I was born in the 80's (1981 to be exact) so I missed most of it, only being a nipper and listening to pop like Michael Jackson, MC Hammer and Vanilla ICE as a kid

I relive the 80's now tho

I ain't even mentioned the metal bands - was trying to keep it more "mainstream" Bands like Metallica, Dream Theater (tho more of a 90's band) Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera, Iron Maiden (currently listening to ) Dio, Ratt, White Zombie, Skid Row, AC/DC, Motorhead, Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne, Queensr˙che, Kiss, Motley Crue, Whitesnake, etc etc!!!!

Metallica are still my fave band today, as they have been since the early 90's when I heard the fairly new "...And Justice For All", and Iron Maiden are still one of the best British metal bands ever - depsite the "Blaze Bailey era" stuff Saw Maiden for the firs time last year and they still rocked the shit otu of Earls Court

Would fooking love to see Maiden in the flesh, the live version of Fear of the Dark is fooking

Metallica is prob my fav metal band and Unfogiven and Unforgiven II makes every single hair on my body stand up when i listen to them !!! You have to listen to them at a seriously loud volume level and all !!!!

Motley Crue and AC/DC are seriously good as well and always have their cd's not to far away from the cd player in my garage

Trust me, Fear Of the Dark Live on CD doens't compare to the actual live version when at one of their gigs! When they played that and "Hallowed Be Thy Name" I nearly had a little wee Fooking top live band...

I've seen Metallica twice aswell, and both times they slayed everyone! First was Donningtong Monsters of Rock in 1995 and last time was Earls Court, Dec 2004 - tour for the latest album. Earls Court they were fucking on fire - fooking blinding!

Way too many good 80's tunes from all genere's of music.

Love Van Halen, Scorpion's, Motley Cru, Twisted Sister, Night Ranger, Dio, etc, etc,

Then there's Aha,Cyndi Lauper,Depeche Mode,New Order,Flock of Seagulls etc,etc,

Then there's Divine, Bobby O, The Flirts, Sylvester, Pet shop boys, Tapps, Fun Fun, etc,etc,...

Then there's Sam Fox, Paula Abdul, other commercial groups/singers..

I love it all and that's just the 80's

Even though I wasn't alive then, I still like some 80's songs.

Some I like.

Metallica-Battery/Unforgiven.

G'n'R-Civil War.

Slayer-Reign In Blood.

Dire Straits-Tunnel of love/brothers in arms.

NWA-Express yourself/Fuck tha police.

Just a few of the top of my head.

Prefer more 90's songs then 80's tbh though.Probably an age thing.
