Yep thats me and it was on the book as 1998cc and does come up as 1.0 12v on insurance. How do you think I insured it? Dont believe me? Get an insurance quote by stating its reg R550 NNV, if your gonna call someone a tool for telling the truth then kiss my big hairy swingers!!!!

It may well come up as a 1.0 but that's because you didnt tell the insurance company it has a 2.0 engine fitted! So you have to ask yourself, why pay for insurance at all?

Believe me it took him a good effort to leave me, only from 120+ he pulled on me. Dunno what his real power was, he was keen to jump out of his car and demand an explanation as to what engine was in mine. Fuck it, Im not fussed it was a £3k car and it played with his £60k(?) car.

I only insured it for the cover note, in case I got stopped. I knew I was fucked if I stuffed it. Irresponsible I agree but most people have done similar. At least Im fully legit on my Cossie now tho.

I find it astonishing you did that to the porsche.

For a start your still on the standard turbo. Secondly your only runing a 5 speed box, which means two things. You had a crap top end, and if you had anywhere near decent power and you drove it properly, you would be changing the box at least once every couple of weeks, if not more often

HPI check says its a CORSA LS 12V 1998cc.

Its not my car anymore but I had an F28 in it when I played with the porsche, turbo was fiddled with too.

Its not just the turbo that is restrictive, its the manifold too.

i would have changed the lights back to normal....Fitted some horrible grey 1.0 litre bumpers and hidden the sports exhaust.... maye fitted some black steel wellers......proper street sleeper style!!!
