hi guys and gals

My g/f has just bought an X reg 1.6 escort... Basically the clutch is biting quite high, almost at the point of then the pedal is fully up. It doesn't slip at all, so i presume the clutch is alright. Is it just a case of adjusting the nut on the end of the cable in the engine bay that the arm attaches to??

There is an Allen Key bolt on the top of the pedal which you use to adjust it

right, have found the allen key bolt, but which way should i turn it? The clutch is biting almost when the clutch is right up, so the biting point needs bringing down a bit.....
