I think it's a credit to Stu and Pet that non Ford owners still hang around here.
Shows it's got good spread of stuff and info here.
If you like to chat Fords go to the Ford rooms on here.

I have a passion for fords, when I was little my dad used to take me to the scrappers (good old days when you could take kids in) and have me stripping parts from Cortinas, Anglias, even the odd MK1 Escort (sacrilege I know) first thing I did when I passed my test was buy a sierra and its been fords all the way since then, I have tried other cars but always came back to ford because they are aces.

my main reason is really when my dad got his first ford after his 4 years of vauxhall ownership (chevette and nova) he went out and got a MK1 Escort Mexico, then an escort RS1600i, orion 1.8, Fiesta XR2i, then proceded the sierras with the XR4X4, 2 & 4wd Sierra Cosworth's, Escort RS Turbo's in S1 & 2 forms, Fiesta RST for the track a few years ago but sold it on before work even began on it, and now that he's now turned grandad material he went out and bought a Focus 1.8 Zetec but it has white cushions on the parcel shelf now!!
Still has the S2 RST in the garage and the 2WD Cossie but the Sierra's being readied to be either put back on the road or sold on to a new owner.
The RS is being kept in storage until my 20th in October when i recieve the keys to it.
So thats my ford history!!!

As a performance car Ford are out dated & out performed by many of the newer Japanese Performance cars. Im older & hence more senile than you & thats why I still own one, if I was say 15 years younger a Cossie would not even be on my short list they are gone, spent & not worth considering. I realise as the former owner of some of the most Powerfull Cosworth ever produced you may have a soft spot for them but you are deluded & need a rethink, ask Chip about the merits of a Vauxhall, I did & now own a Vectra. I except a Cossie may actually be better than that Mazda 348 you own though. .

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
I love Fords, because its a peoples make, with models ranging from bottom of the pile cheepo stuff to some quite nice very respectable stuff.
Old skool fords rule totally which is where my love falls.
I also like Vauxhalls for the same reasons, hence why I drive a Mk2 Astra GTE, and I'm currently sorting out another Mk2 Escort as its the only car I most regret selling.
I have a passion for fords, and I appreciate most cars whether fast or just well engineered.
