bbigman2000 Sep 5, 2004 05:09 PM

LOL quality :DD:

Jim Galbally Sep 5, 2004 05:23 PM

only running 25jets at the moment, and its stupidly rich too (they sell the kits running rich to stop people melting their engines) but it works and thats the main thing :top: increqase in power is also barely noiceable, but then itll feel a bit better when the proper jets are put on and its all set up on the 18th :top:

needs a bit of tidying up of wires, and i wanna change the location of the crossfire injector but apart form that its all sweet :)

MadMac Sep 5, 2004 05:31 PM

Sweet mate!!! :top: But weeny 25 jets!!! :? surely you could have gone 50 without any hassle....

or are you gonna put biger ones in later ;)

Jim Galbally Sep 5, 2004 05:35 PM

bigger ones in later... i was supposed to receive 50s straight away, but highpower didnt put them in the kit (ive paid for em tho) so gonna get some sent down...

i think im gonna leave it untill i get it set up by a pro tho...ive fitted n tested it, but dont fancy trying to set it up myself... i understand the teory behind it with static tests n plug chops n stuff, but dont wanna rick it.

i'll probably go for either 50, 75, or 100 but i've got a progressive controller aswell so it should be ok :)

Thrush Sep 5, 2004 05:45 PM

I'd go with 75 (or even 50) on the progressive throttle thing, but have an extra 25 standing by linked to a button for instant fun :top:

Jim Galbally Sep 5, 2004 05:55 PM

you cant do that matt (unless you use the more expensive controller, or a second set of pulsoids)

MadMac Sep 5, 2004 05:59 PM

75jet on progressive sounds wicked mate!!! :top:

Oh yeah, hoover your boot.

Switch Sep 5, 2004 06:42 PM

lancia delta 6 times WRC Sep 5, 2004 06:56 PM

dont bother with the controller a waste of time, my mate used to run 75bhp jets in his clio 16v no problems without one.

Jim Galbally Sep 5, 2004 07:45 PM

yes im at essex :top:

wont be doin rides with nos tho :(

Thrush Sep 5, 2004 10:41 PM

Jim Galbally Sep 6, 2004 08:00 AM

McPikie Sep 6, 2004 08:04 AM

Jim, why oh why................. you've got NOS to make you go faster right.......... surely taking those cheapo "Discount Dan" subwoofers out would have saved some weight???

:blabla:

RichardPON Sep 6, 2004 08:04 AM

PMSL @ Pikie - I was just gonna say the same thing

Jim Galbally Sep 6, 2004 08:07 AM

they were in the car when i bought it, and i quite em... they're pony quiet tho, 100w amp powering two subs

McPikie Sep 6, 2004 08:34 AM

Take em out then as they are just a waste of time in a saph unless you have a "proper" system.

Jim Galbally Sep 6, 2004 08:36 AM

no, i've got a 300w amp coming to power them instead...

at 1st i thought "nah, ICE is for saxos" but im actually enjoying having a decent(ish) quality stereo to listen to... lol
