Default Focus Spare wheel.

Can anyone with a standard spec focus with alloy wheels tell me what sort of spare wheel you get in them please? Is it a space saver?

Cheers

yup, in my 1.8 zetec its a 15 inch space saver

the st170 came with a 16" orange jobbie i think, and the RS didnt get one at all, and u iirc the 16" st170 spare will fit over the back wheels of the RS but not the fronts! Due to brakes

Yes it's a 15" space saver in my 2 litre zetec too. The 15" one will clear the rear st170 brakes, the st170 16" one is designed to clear the fronts too.

Ahhh cheers guys.

I know a ST170 space saver doesnt clear the front brakes on a FRS but wondered what the difference was between a ST170 space saver and a "normal" focus space saver.

Cheers for answering that Steve

Can you not move a rear FRS wheel to the front and fit a space saver on the rear?

Thats what you have to do on evos

Yeah thats the easy option

Paul, i know but finding a "spare" FRS wheel is like finding hens teeth. They are £170 new from Ford

when they do crop up you find out they dont fit in the spare wheel well of a FRS
