Default Cosworth TPS voltage

Right....I have been told to check the voltage on my TPS at pin 11 and 17 on the ECU with ignition on and it should read 0.2v.
I have done that and its reading 4.8v when closed and 0.7 when fully open.

Baiscially.......Is it fooked? What should it read when at full throttle? Does voltage increase/decrease as throttle is opened?

If it is fooked, then where can i get one asap?

Thanks peoples!

It means the voltages are what they should be. But, without a scope, you can't say it's for certain, as there maybe a problem with transitions.

That depends what your trying to do. It's very unlikely that your TPS is at fault. What's the problem?

If it's a 2wd car, that sound about right (as long as it's running a PF01 TPS and an L1 or L6 ECU).

Not to thread jack but while we're on this topic... what should the reading be on a 4x4? Repair manual says 0.6 but a search on here says 0.25-0.30 at idle

The important thing is the resistance reading throughout the range of the TPS. The resistance should change in a nice linear maner as the throttle is opened. Any blips, non-linear readings are faults and will upset the ECU.

Remember bigern i have a spare throttle body with tps already fitted and i know it works fine all you need to fit to it is the iscv and i still have that standard chip and injectors etc if you wanted to go back to basics and fault find from there, as it could be your chip or map sensor playing up and all this set up works perfectly still cheeRS.

I'm no expert in the faults that marelli suffers from commonly. By all means try another TPS, as it could have problems that show only when the throttle is changing. Is your CPS aligned ok? Tried another MAP sensor?

Whats the CPS then? Im guessing Crankshaft Position Sensor? I havent moved it or touched it so Im guessing its ok. Havent been able to get hold of a MAP sensor. Id have liked to know what was wrong before I start spending on sensors etc just as trial and error.

unfortuneltly, this is the usual way of doing things. If u have a mate close, then u can swap stuff. CPS is crank position sesnor, they do fail/get much in em etc.
