just done the head gasket and a few other bits,put it all back together and checked it all twice, but it wont start.....

there is a spark and fuel going to it,i just bought a brand new battery as well,

it turns over fine but it just wont fire up...any one got any ideas...

its a saff cossie by the way,as i allways forget to say

 

what were the other bits fella? as these could be a major factor

and have you got fuel coming through the system?

 

just a new turbo water cooler,breather kit,new water hoses nothing to much..

there is fuel comming to the fuel rail as i have took the pipe back off and checked,and the spark is there....not tried turning it over with the injectors out yet to see if they are ok,i will do that in the morning..but it was all fine b 4 i done it so they should be ok...

 

try towing it and forcing it to start

 

Have you checked the timing of the phase sensor in the dizzy?

i am gonna take the plugs back out and try getting the oil and fuel round the head as we had that upside down when we were working on that,

 

Shouldnt matter if the head was upside down dude should take a few secs to prime with fuel then turn over...........

As said make sure the dizzy is in the right pisition, did you align the aux crank pulley marker in the right place?! has to be in the middle of the semi circle on the backing plate on the right side, makes it easier using a mirror to see it
